Elevate Your Musical Talent at the BYU Musicians' SummerFestival
Are you a young instrumentalist or vocalist (ages 14–18) looking to elevate your musical talents this summer? The BYU SummerFestival is the perfect opportunity for you! This six-day camp is designed to help you improve your skills, explore new musical styles, and immerse yourself in a vibrant, supportive community of musicians. With instruction available for over 20 instruments—including voice—participants will receive expert guidance from BYU’s School of Music faculty and guest instructors. Musical genres covered include classical, jazz, blues, big band, and more, with classes offered at intermediate and advanced levels.
During the camp you’ll participate in:
- Ensemble Rehearsals and Sectionals tailored to your instrument
- Master Classes and Elective Courses (like music history and theory)
- Individual Practice Time to fine-tune your craft
- Social Activities including concerts, recitals, dances, a barbecue, and more
At the end of the week, you’ll have the chance to showcase your progress in multiple concerts for family and friends!
Spots are limited, so apply soon to secure your place. Space is available for all instruments until filled, but each participant may enroll in only one instrument.
