- Your organ audition music
- For beginning organists: funds to purchase music after our first meeting
- For all: a hymn book and a way to take notes

Training for those with good piano foundations but no organ training will include an introduction to manual and pedal technique, organ registration (choosing the stops), hymn playing, and organ music. They will participate in group organ classes, daily semi-private organ instruction, and an introduction to organ literature.
Those with substantial organ training or experience will enjoy a week of instruction geared specifically to their goals. They usually bring one or more works that they are interested in learning or finishing. Daily lessons help them plan their practice strategy in preparation for the next lesson. For those who don’t already have music chosen to learn, faculty members are happy to help them find some great music to learn during the week.
